In commemoration of World Water Day 2024, AOSED is excited to present a Hybrid Webinar on March 21st, 2024, from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM. This event aims to tackle the urgent issue of the water crisis in coastal areas, shedding light on governmental and private sector initiatives while devising strategies to overcome prevailing challenges.
Mr. Saber Hossain Chowdhury MP, Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change ministry will be present as the chief guest in the webinar
We are privileged to announce the esteemed Chairman of the Coastal Water Convention Committee and the Honorable Mayor of Khulna City Corporation, Mr. Alhaj Talukder Abdul Khaleque, as the presiding dignitary for the webinar. Additionally, we are honored to welcome Dr. Ainun Nishat, a distinguished water and climate scientist and Emeritus Professor of BRAC University, as our keynote speaker.
To ensure a comprehensive dialogue, we anticipate the participation of various experts as panelists. Moreover, the webinar will serve as a platform for representatives from civil society and development organizations in coastal districts to articulate their perspectives and demands on water-related issues to policymakers and policy implementers.
